Fun Halloween Counting Mats

November 16, 2017 misskindergarten Leave a Comment

Learning to count is extra fun with googly eyes are involved! Your students can work on one-to-one correspondence and fine-motor skills with these monster counting cards

These adorable monsters are in need of some eyes! Have your kiddos pick a card, look at the number on the corner, and add that many eyes to the monster’s face. These googly eyes are extra fun since they come in different sizes!

This activity doubles as excellent fine motor practice as well since the kiddos need to use their pincer grip to pick up the eyes. You could also add little tweezers to this center if you’d like!

By now you know @applesandabcs is my best friend a By now you know @applesandabcs is my best friend and I just can’t help but share how extremely talented she is! I am lucky enough to work side by side with her as we run @targetteachers and @enchantedlittlelearners together and figure out how to raise and teach our two little kiddos in the middle of a pandemic 🤪 These sensory bins she created are an awesome mix of fun, fine motor, and learning and I love to use them at home just as much as I loved using them in my classroom! If you don’t follow Michelle yet, get on that! 🤣😍😍 #saturdayteachershare
