Fire Safety Week {and a quick giveaway!}

Last year I shared some great ideas for Fire Prevention Week and I wanted to share some more wonderful ideas that I have found this year!
This week is all about fire safety! Here’s a look at some of the things we are going to do!
We are going to talk about the features of a firefighter and why their uniforms are so important. We’ve been working hard on labeling so this lesson from My {Not So} Elementary Life just ties in perfectly!
I love how she includes extra labels to help my students really think!
I also love this labeling page from A Cupcake for the Teacher! Perfect to tie in transportation!
We’re also going to use our vocab word cards to help us figure out what important tools firefighters need and write them on the cute little writing template from Mrs. Wheeler’s fire pack!
We have been working hard and digging deep with numbers 1-5 in math, so to reinforce these skills we are going to make this fun little emergent reader.
In centers, we will build this adorable number order puzzle from Heidi’s pack!
And practice ordering numbers with Megan’s cute center!
Of course we will be making some cute crafts to go along with our fire theme!
and these super cuties from A Cupcake for the Teacher!
It’s going to be an exciting week!
You can find all these units for sale on TpT!
 Want to win them?? Enter using the raffelcopter! Winner will be announced Monday evening!
