What’s included?

This resource includes a PDF document with a link to download 8 Boom Decks as well as step-by-step instructions for setting up a Boom Learning account and video tutorials for sharing the links with your students.

• Rhyming Practice: Help your students practice identifying two words that rhyme. They will say or listen to the words shown by each picture, then drag the correct image to the tractor.
• Letter Matching: Your students will work on letter identification and matching the correct lowercase letter to the uppercase letter shown on the apple crate. They will drag the apple from the tree to make a match.
• Alphabet formation: Your students can work on letter formation by tracing the letters with their fingers. They will drag the image that shows the beginning sound to the box, then read the simple sentence. Audio assistance also included.
• Sight words: Your students will begin to learn that words are made from letters. They will listen to the sight word being read, then drag the letters to the tree to build the word.
• Color and shape sort: Your students will practice sorting objects by color and shape by dragging two images to each basket.
• Build a number: Your students can practice identifying numbers to 10 by using blocks to build each number. They will match the correct colors to make the number.
• Counting to 10: Your students can practice counting by dragging the apples from the tree to the basket.
• Ten frames: Your students can practice identifying numbers using a ten frame by dragging the apple basket to the booth.
