February Activities

I’m pretty sure the last time I looked at the calendar it was February 1st and now it’s February 10th!? How is this happening?? Don’t blink!!!

February is one of my favorite months, but I still can’t figure out why the shortest month of the year is the most jam packed! We just celebrated Groundhog Day and on Friday we are having our Valentine’s Day party! Next week we will celebrate our 100th day of school!! The fun never ends 😉

All the while, we are still moving full speed ahead with our learning. It still amazes me every year how much my kinders transform at this time of year! We’ve been working hard on our reading, writing and math skills. Here’s some fun activities we’ve been using and will continue to use throughout the month.

 I also introduced our February Centers and my kiddos were SO excited!

Lastly, we’ve been working with our word cards in our writing center. This one is a huge hit!

I love that my students enjoy writing and they CHOOSE it as one of their centers! Nothing makes my teacher heart happier 🙂 I have some other great writing ideas that we’ve been using, can’t wait to share them with you all!
