Kindergarten Boom Cards™ for October

Description

What’s included?

This resource includes a PDF document with a link to download 8 Boom Decks as well as step-by-step instructions for setting up a Boom Learning account and video tutorials for sharing the links with your students.

• Counting syllables: Help your students practice identifying syllables in words. They will say or listen to the words shown by each picture, then tap the acorn that shows how many syllables are in the word.
• Beginning sounds: Your students will work on identifying beginning sounds in words. They will say or listen to the letter sound, then drag the image to the hay bale that begins with that sound.
• Alphabet identification: Your students can work on letter ID by listening to the letter name and finding the correct letter. First, they will drag the pumpkins to the wagon to reveal the hidden letters. Then, they will identify the letter by tapping it.
• Sight words: Your students will begin to learn that words are made from letters. They will listen to the sight word being read, then drag the letters to the fence to build the word.
• 2D shapes: Your students will practice identifying 2D shapes by matching the shape on the spider to the shape on the web.
• Counting to 10: Your students can practice counting by dragging the correct number of pumpkins to the fence.
• 1:1 correspondence: Your students can practice counting pumpkins and finding the number that shows how many.
• Sequencing numbers: Your students can practice counting on from a given number and typing in the number that is missing.
