January Boom Cards™ for Kindergarten

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

This resource includes a PDF document with a link to download 8 Boom Decks as well as step-by-step instructions for setting up a Boom Learning account and video tutorials for sharing the links with your students. Audio support included with each deck!

• Beginning and ending sounds: Your students will work on identifying beginning and ending sounds in words. They will say or listen to the image, then drag the letters to the hot cocoa stand to show the correct beginning and ending sound.
• Middle sounds: Your students will practice identifying middle sounds in words. They will say or listen to the image in the igloo, then drag the letter that shows the correct vowel sound to the word.
• Reading words by word families: Your students will practice reading short vowel words by word families. They will read the word family on the snowglobe, then drag the image that matches the word.
• Sight word simple sentences: Your students will practice reading sight words in simple sentences. They will drag the image that matches the sentence to the kid’s sign.
• Teen numbers: Your students will practice identifying and counting teen numbers in a ten frame.
• Addition to ten: Your students can practice adding to ten. They will drag the snowballs to the snowman’s hands to show the equation, then type the total in the box.
• Before and after: Your students can practice identifying numbers that come before and after in a sequence.
• More and less: Your students can practice subitizing numbers to 10 and identifying which snowman shows more.

USING BOOM LEARNING:
