Audio on Boom Cards:
Directions play automatically on every slide. Audio is also designed to support reading fluency. The readers can tap on the black dot on any page to hear the word read aloud. Boom Cards also has the option to MUTE all sounds if your students need to practice reading without the audio support. Easily differentiate for all learners!
Audio on Google Slides:
Some districts block audio files on Google Slides. Because of this, there may be issues with audio playing correctly on Google Slides that are beyond our control. You can download this -at family freebie to try it out and see if the audio works for you! If it doesn’t, and you would like your students to work independently with the audio support, I highly recommend using the Boom Cards option (if your school allows). It’s easy to link to the Boom Cards in Google Classroom for your students to use. Directions for linking to Boom Cards are included in the download.
These stories can also be used in presentation mode for your students to work on reading in a whole group!
