Here’s a fun math activity for Thanksgiving!

We started with an anchor chart on “How to draw a turkey”as a whole class before the students drew them on their own. I prep my anchor charts in pencil first and then go over it with markers during the lesson. We also labeled certain parts of the turkey to help develop vocabulary.

Have your students draw their turkey family by drawing the same number of turkeys as people in their family.
After the turkeys are drawn and colored, fill in the blanks on the bottom by counting the objects.
